Labelling machines

Does anyone have any recommendations on labelling machines that use the jar upright (no honey in the lids!), like this:

Have spotted this one (it's also the same people on the ebay listing) and looks similar but less dosh:

Really expensive things. It could not be too hard to build one for your self?

Forgive me but for over £200 just to peel a label of its backing is just taking the proverbial. For that much money it would have to put the label on as well.

Nantmoel has one that puts the label on from memory, it might be worth reaching out to him to see what he uses.

Yes, you're right, they are relatively simple, so it's surprising they're such a price.

These ones do stick the label, but you have to rotate the jar yourself! The horizonal versions at least rotate the jar in the rollers

I've the one of the horizontal labellers; the labelroo, great for round jars but useless for hex jars.

The vertical style labeller was something I was going to build at some stage for that reason alone. Might justify a 3d printer actually...
