Does anyone know where I'll find Kieler plastic frames? None of the usual suspects seem to have them . Maismore sell them with the nucs but not separately.
Cheers!

Cheers ! Ordered.
Interesting site. Wooden apidea !?!? Why ?
I've just been given 20 kieler nucs some missing frames.
A sheet of .5mm plastic for crownboards, new frames and 10 supers for overwintered queens and they'll be back in action in a week or two

In Germany, they have a special grade of honey where everything has to be natural/sympathetic to the needs of the insect producing the food. That means, no plastic, chemicals, treatments, etc.

Ok , the bee assessment and selection stuff I can get my head around, but that's taking anal too far for me. Lol

Thank you for explaining that, I often wondered what the reason was as it defeats the principal advantage of the conventional Apidea.......excellent insulation.
