The Lidl ones were £40 new.
They were all (white) enamelled.
The first generation had 'dumb' thermostats (like the Abelo Kochstar).
The second gen had digital controls (like the stainless Thorne Kochstar '1').
The 1st gen is preferred by people wanting to use their own controller or hit temperatures beyond 100C (eg home brewers).
But, the 2nd gen is ideal for things like pasteurising apple juice, melting buckets of honey, etc.
They both seem to go for about £50 used on eBay.

The Abelo Kochstar looks to be (blue) enamelled and has the simple thermostat. I see that they are asking £110 for something equivalent to the Lidl 1st gen.
The eBay offer I linked is £125ish INCLUDING delivery from Germany (€uro rate dependant) which is pretty good for one that is stainless and has the digital controller.
As such, it looks identical to the £200 Kochstar '1' from Thorne.
The Thorne £280 Kochstar 2 adds a second (wax?) tap ...
