I didn't even realise this new series was starting....it hasn't exactly been advertised. However it is definitely worth watching on repeat (i-player).

The first episode this evening covered agriculture in Brazil which was, quite simply, staggering in volume. (50 combine harvesters in one field !!!)

Ok, so the 50 harvesters were pulled together for the film, but they are all run by one farmer. Couple this with bio-ethanol production, cattle ranching , Caman farming and mango production (the latter utilising , in my view, concerning volumes of artifical growth inhibitors) might make you choose an organic mango in the future.

That said, very informative and worth watching the 2nd in the series !

I hope they do a feature on our little honey producing friends.
