I am getting very envious of all these people saying they are seeing pollen and describing all the flowers that are out in their area.
Here in Somerset on the northern reaches of the Mendips (that sounds so picturesque!) all the catkins have been thoroughly washed of their pollen. There are drifts of snowdrops and some flowering cherry but other than that there's nothing much for the bees. We've had a bit of sun today but more often than not the bees aren't out flying as it seems to be raining most of the time.
