Can anybody help? Looking to buy cheap 12 ounce jars and am now all searched out. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

cheapest I can find is Asda, who do a value curry sauce in a nice jar for £0.09p each :)

They only let you order 25 online so if you need more you would need to go instore.

An interesting thought of gingerbees to buy something you may not even want just to get a recyclable jar. I did recycle some for home use but they are not always good for sale as some jars have use by dates or other markings on the lids.

It would be a lot cheaper to buy just the lids from Th*** or other suppliers and not risk breakages of jars in the post. Does anyone know of particular products in jars that will fit the normal Th***'s plastic lids?

Just finished filling some of the ones I got from WJ, placed order Friday arrived Tuesday and thats with a bank holiday!

Try washing them out and I bet they still smell of curry after.

As your in Gloucester have you approached the Dean Forrest BKA boys?
We did a combined buy with them and sell on @ 24p ish.

Maybe not if you put them through the dishwasher.

Try it the lids will still smell.

I made a chilli jam put the jars and lids back through the dishwasher when finished and the jars and lids still smell of chilli jam.

just wash them or soak them in milton then hot water and the smell goes totaly, use the same method when i reuse pickled onion jars and lids.

Mmmmmm . . . pickled onion flavoured honey. Now that's a bit of lateral thinking.

My local shop sell onions pickled in honey - not tried them so not sure if the onions are pickled in vinegar first and then stored in honey or some other process.

Just cant bring myself to buy a jar to find out!
