Hi all. Somewhere I have seen a thread about this but can't seem to find it. My question is: Is there a certain time of the day that bees are likely to swarm? Thanks in advance.

Hi
I can only tell you what my lot have done over the years but between 12.00 and 3.00.
Not that they told me beforehand !!!
I bet you with these hot day we have had a lot more will be thinking of going or gone !!

Others may say somthing else ?????

I have been told by a very experience beekeeper that they prefer to decamp between 11 and two on a hot day. True to form ours buzzed off last year at 11.30......

I would agree with 12 to 3pm. However in the south it could well be earlier as obviously it depends on temperature.
