Sounds like an opportunity for an entrepreneur to set up a brewery with oversized power generation station and a water treatment plant. Put a helipad on the top and make money

.... but Cornwall council seems to have a moritorium on building anything new on the Scillies....... and in Newquay have introduced a " no new build second home" ruling.
Cornwall is very quiet in the Winter months with some picturesque coastal villages like ghost towns midweek if it raining!

,,, and due to very poor investment in infrastructure Cornwall has the worst rail and road links... and possibly broadband speed and mobile phone coverage in the UK!

My Aunt who lives on the rural part of Liskeard only got connected to mains power in 1994!

What does your County Council do for you ( Or not)?

Ours is currently trying to revitalize their Royal Charter weekly markets and get more people to shop there. As they are currently full of the stack high sell em cheap, unlock phones and white goods traders they are going to struggle. Particularly as the markets stand on most of the available town center parking....
