Local to me a tree was cut down and when being cut for logs this was found.
Rehoused and doing well.
A fellow beekeeper did the work and took the photos, I will speak with her tonight and see if she has anymore she can send me and if she is happy for you to use them, don't see it being a problem as they have reached facebook and no doubt been shared beyond.
The main question for me is what happened when the chainsaw started going through the nest? Did the operator get met with a few angry bees?

here's the deal, just checked and the tree is still in situ minus the bees, you could have a slice, take measurements, photos etc etc
In return we need a speaker at our AGM next February, Saturday afternoon for an hour or so, travel expenses can be paid. Kings Lynn area.
