Insulation on Top of Crown Board

I have no idea why blue tits still like pecking at silver foil but they do... its a fact
they just peck through the foil on the corner and stop after a few mm beyond.
maybe they now provoke the odd bee to come out and then snaffle it but that s pure conjecture.
