I got stung!!

Got my first ever hornet (european) sting today

On the back of my leg (still shorts weather over here). Initial pain similar to a bee sting but is has not diminished, little swelling but no itch.

Next time I will not miss with the first swipe of the badminton racquet

I got attacked by hornets while hiking in Turkey. I was at the tail end of the group and I guess they had had enough being disturbed by a straggle of walkers and decided to teach the last one a lesson.
I had eight stings to my head and I can tell you I was in tears and shaking with shock for an hour. It was two days before I felt pain-free. Horrid!!!!
I sympathise.

Mike, Holly got stung by a European hornet this week, and I got stung in the gentlemans area during the inspection.

I know who complained most...
