How to make **** set honey

i never used a seed to my honey just let it set solid then softened it then i used my mams kenwood chef to mix it got all crystals out no probs but last lot burnt motor out and also used one of those mixers for plaster that was ok aswell but needs a strong drill

Maybe a silly idea but would a potato masher work similar to a thornes hand held creamer? would need to keep it below the surface to avoid adding any air to the honey

Yes potato masher will do the same job. Forcing the honey through the holes/gaps seems to shear the crystals making them smaller.
