Honey Jars & Lids Problems

A similar thing happened to me last year, I ordered honey jars with screw lids and my mate picked them up for me as he was working down that way so off I went extracted and filtered then bottled just the lids to go on and would you believe it I had screw lids and twist top jars, I phoned the company and they sent me twist off lids but they were white !!! back on the phone they then sent me gold one's. No big drama I just had to put cling film on 100 jars until the right lids arrived, but on the plus side I have lots of white lids for my jam.

Okay so second attempt.....

20 jars filled and capped, tight but not tight enough for them to pop

Tried the 2 lids again which popped to easy and they still popping so must just be a pair of duffs.

I haven't yet been busy all day so not really got a chance to sit down, but will do probably tommorow as i got less on.
