This is pure natural honey taken from the hives. It has not been heated and therefore may ‘cloud’ and set with time. This is a natural process and will not spoil the honey in any way. There may be fine specs visible in the honey, these are grains of pollen and help to make up the ‘body and taste’ of any particular honey, Colour and taste will differ depending on the flowers that produced the nectar necessary for the honey to be made by the bees.
Many ‘shop bought’ honey’s will have been heated and finely sieved to produce consistency from jar to jar. Each batch of honey should be different.
Your honey will last for years but is best eaten within three years of the date it was ‘bottled’. It is best kept at room temperature in a dry cupboard with the lid firmly in place.
