honey bee size

As a new beekeeping who has recently picked up and installed a nuc. The first thing that struck me was how small the honeybees were. That got me thinking,,,are all honeybees the same size from area to area and species to species. I mean the british bees to the continental bees to the American bees...

Yes I thought the same thing when I got my first hive a few weeks ago. Made me realise that I hadn't really noticed (or seen) them before, only bumbles and solitary bees. No idea to the answer to your question though.
