As I have poly hives I don't use them, but water expansion tank jackets are commonly used.

A while ago Kennings, the builders merchants on Hook Road in Goole were selling off seconds/broken sheets of Kingspan. Might be worth a phone call?

Found four 4 X 8 sheets of 25mm kingspan in a skip.
Made some jackets with that and hinged one side and added velcro to close it up.
Using some more to insulate the hedgehog houses.
