again I thought of that as in my other life I used to be a fringe eng we used defrost heaters I think I could adapt one of them i.e. Stat and timer ( central heating for my bees lol. ) never know it might cach on . Again thank you for your help

"in my other life..."

Soooo you would know to calculate around the psychometric properties
of the hive interior, John... not forgetting the LH factor of the biomass(kgs)
and any honey(gallons), yeh? As an educated guess I would think anywhere
north of 12C and the colony is going to think about propagation possibilities
and maybe even take a stroll out the entrance - to be snap frozen!!
Buuuut at the technical level.....???
Fridge defrost heaters can run past 500W... maybe you are thinking drain
heaters at <5W ?
I googl'd that info --- ht tp://www.educationdx.com/refrigerator-defrost-heater.html

An' y'@ll see the prime problem with EweToob education is first and
foremost one has to know what they are looking at to get any value at all?
Such has been the corruption of that medium :-[

... I'd flatten me batteries before I found a "pub" in this Country
today!! All gambling dens, and "Hotels" (read - glorified restaurants)
nowadays with nary a bean worth a yarn at the bar - all "patrones"
busy sextn their pimps!

... do not mention "the war" lest them guard bees get antsy, again .. heh :D
