Last autumn all my hives filled their supers with Ivy. I nadired what I could and hoped they would consume any remainder in the spring.
I still have lots of supers full of ivy, the bees are very slowly consuming it, but at this rate it will take a couple of years to complete! ... And more ivy will be arriving in just a few months!!!!
Is there any way I can deal with this without wasting valuable frames / wax?
They seem to empty out small amounts of ivy then fill these little holes with good fresh stuff and ignore the empty drawn supers above.
