Hi living in the High Peak. I know nothing about bees but would like to start. Any advice from people who have learned this would be welcome, especially would like to know someone local who is willing to let me see how they have set up theirs.

Just outside Glossop, but I've got some hives at Chinley so not far from you.

Yes Chinley is very close. Would you be willing to let me take a look when lockdown is over? In the meantime I can study what I can online. I have a decent sized garden so I figure it should be possible. Many thanks for responding.

Sure. Should do well in Chapel, but my season timings are more akin to central Scotland than Cheshire due to the altitude and climate.
