Heather blooming on high moors

Just a wee heads up for those pondering moving to the heather.

At 2000 ft on the North Yorkshire moors the Ling is partly in flower in the more sheltered areas so bees really should be on site now.

Took my bees to my heather site in the Angus glens yesterday - timing just about perfect for the ling heather which is out here and there.

I'm so glad my bees are only a mile or so away fromt Heather!! I did see the other day 14 new hives have appeared in a field not too far away, guess someone else has moved them in for the Heather!

they maybe in partial flower but no flow as yet, need rain on the moors!!

Heather in wales

SAME HERE IN SOUTH WALES -MY BEES ON BLAENAVON MOUNTAIN -SOME HEATHER FLOWERING -THEY ARE BRINGING IN CLOVER AND STARTING ON HEATHER -YUM YUM
