Gloves and Smoker recommendations

My £15 ebay smoker is now 15 years old. Mind you it ls rather repaired... and modified with a wooden base wired to it so I can place it safely on poly hive roofs..

I've glued a piece of soldering mat to the base of my smoker for the same reason.

Are they as thick as Marigolds?

No ...but they are much thicker than the 'normal' thin disposables ...

A while ago I got some neat gauntlets which covered the gap at the wrist. They have JANMART and a bee embroidered on them and they were really cheap but have been excellent. However can't find or remember where I git them - any ideas.

As a cheapo what about these and cut off the leather and pop a piece of elastic in place - cheap gauntlets!!
