Getting bees to take thymolated feed

Well that's useful to know...I won't be feeding yet though. They are still madly bringing it in.
 
Weighing won't work for a beehaus though. So measuring the syrup they take down will have to do....and on the last inspection checking how much stores they have.

You can weigh a corner. And weigh each one..
Subtract the weight of the beehaus and comb..(which you can calculate if you have not weighed it empty).

I can't even lift a corner...let alone weight it! If I know how much syrup they take down...surely that will give an idea of stores? Last year all the colonies had too much and I had loads of spare comb filled with syrup.
