frames

I have been given some deep hofman langstroth frames to assemble but as I only have national hives does anybody know if I will still be able to use them in a national brood box when they are made up.

Put one together and try it, that is what i would do,

No - they won't fit

Totally incompatible and a peruse of a catalogue will explain why.

Result

Thanks guys. Just measured the top bar of one and found out is 17 inches long so they must be national frames and not langstroth. Result and yes they do fit in my brood box.
