Hi guys,
went to inspect a couple of nucs that i have on my garage at home.
When i cam to the first nuc, I immediately spotted this years queen dead only 4 inches from the enterance!! On looking at the frames, i have found they have made either a supercedure cell / emergency cell.
Up until ast week, she was laying great.
what i dont understand is if they have choose to supercede her, why chuck her out? surely it would be better to leave her in there until the new queen is mated.
Bees temperment gone up a little now though
