So it must be close now...
My bees are filling supers with a joy this week and last. Today I had a quick drive by (well across a muddy field) on the way to work and saw clouds of bees in-front of each hive. it was 9.30 and 5.5 degrees. There was a motorway to the rape.
Has anyone taken a super off yet? I deployed empty spun supers and last weekend several frames were 80% filled. Others must have further advanced colonies than mine so who has had some honey?
This, of-course, is meant in a light hearted manner NOT in a competitive way at all,
