Fighting - Robbing?

For two days now - about 50+ bees on landing board very fussily going about. Incoming pollen loaded just land on them and enter hive. But regularly they are attacking single bees three/four to one - and pulling into Hive, out of Hive or throwing off the board. The attacked are not drone. No zig zag pattern in front of hive - Is it robbing? Any takers to explain to the uninitiated. P
