Feeding while treating for varroa?

I googled this question and some American beekeepers have reported temps as low as 30f/ that's -1 and bees still taking syrup, but what most are saying is the temp of the syrup that is important and that should be no lower than 50f/10c

Yes, that's what I spotted.
I have taken the feeders off mine as the hives are quite heavy(though not full) Balsam is still on flow and Ivy is to come. Weather forecast not too bad for the next two weeks and I am going away for a fortnight. The plan was to top up feed if needed on my return.......hoping it was still warm enough for Ambrosia.
 
Thank you for all the advice. Replies suggest everyone (more or less) agrees!
When the thunder and lightening stops, I'll get the feeders on with no further ado.
