there are so many bees that i cant even get in to wash the honey off the floor. Not sure what i am going to do about it.

Drill a hole in one of the windows and put in a porter escape..

........or drill a hole in each corner and put half a rhombus escape on each?

I read the OP this morning with increasing mirth, then horror.
Nearly as good as RAB's write up of his car inferno.

So sorry though.....rotten luck.

Thought this was a good idea as nothing else worked but I only have the Th0rnes round escapes and unable to put drawing pins in the glass though as its a bit hard and the pins keep bending, so i now have a round hole in my window with bees using it as an entrance. :hairpull:

On the plus side it might be a good place to put the entrance to my observation hive i have thought about buying.

Looks like you've got a bleddy great big observation hive already - beats Finman's triple brood Langstroths :D

I had a couple of bees coming in through the key hole once, It's not in my nature to kill bees but they annoyed me so much SPLAT

Gaffer tape the escape to the outside of the hole?

It might not be the best of times to even mention one of those! :laughing-smiley-004

Well that's a lot more spectacular than my Poly-nuc and Corex-nuc of honey frames being robbed out. I have been ill and unable to deal with a full super. so thought this would be easier.
Anyone watching me must have thought I was crazy. correction known I was crazy. I made the same mistake thinking the bees would go home but it was a warm night. I went to bed before they did and they were up before me. The hosepipe came into use to discourage The marauders the following day and I closed the entrance to the containers but of course the Poly has a mesh floor so they were hanging around for ages.
The neighbours all now refer to that mad woman with the bees. Haha.

Bee-vac

I am probably too late but if the problem does still exist and you haven't got rid of your unwanted guests if you have a bee-vac why not close all windows and doors and periodically hoover the bees off the window and empty the can outside.
I've seen videos of home made bee-vacs but I use an ash-vac (used to clear the ash from fire places)
As it only cost £10 it might be worth investing in one for next time!
