Does any one use them if so what are the pros and cons, i'm thinking about getting a couple to try as i'm sick of faffing about with my homemade contact feeders from jars with pin holes in the lids simply because they empty them too quick and putting 6 x 1lb jars on one colony is bad enough let alone three and so on.

Have used them for last few years. No problem, just make sure the inverted cup is seated right. I roughed up the cone with a bit of coarse sandpaper for extra grip first - probably unnecessary as it is ribbed, but thought it wise. Needs an empty super or tall eke .

Thank you for that i will give them a go and i will do the same as you with a bit of sand paper, i do like the Abelo/lyson poly feeders but they are out of my price range for now.
Cheers
Steve.

Pro's:

Big, two fills should provide enough inverted syrup for winter feed.
Easy to use.
Can put wet cappings in and feed back to bee's after extraction to get lovely white bone dry wax.
Easy to clean.
Easy enough to pour any unused feed back into jerry can in spring.
Beats a rapid feeder hands down
You could buy them at a reasonable price in the Th's sale but not sure now.
Don't leak

Cons;

Can get brittle over time,
Need an Eke but a empty super is too much
Might need a crown board with a central hole to allow bees to feed properly
helps loads if hive is flat if not bees might not reach syrup that has settled into an edge or corner.

Agree with all the above, I keep one for each hive and they make autumn feeding a doddle
