The lat few inspections, I've noticed some droppings on the inspection board. I think they're earwig droppings, but I'm not sure- I hope they're not wax moth. They're about 1.5-2mm long. Any help much appreciated.

I put a post on here last year with a very similar photo, i too was curious after spotting those droppings, and i did indeed find two wax moth larvae in my comb, but after they were squished i did not see those droppings again.

Either i disturbed the culprit during my inspection who left, or it was the wax moth.

i think it is wax moth, look for caterpillars and wooly cocoons, eaten wax comb like slug trails

Hope this helps.

I knew I'd seen a video of small wax moth damage also showing their excrement.
Took a screen shot of the video shown below.

Comparing the picture Skyhook posted and description saying they are 1.5 - 2mm doesn't match what the video shows.

well this photo off the web is the type of wax moth i got in my hive last year, not a bit like your snapshots from the video

i asume they are greater rather than lesser wax moths

i dont identify them just squish them
