I expect I will have to give them back to the bees in June.
mixing that much thymol syrup into new honey is not good idea.
But if you make artificial swarm, bees consume that stuff in comb building.
Put into new hive 3 food frames, brood frame and others foundations.
Bees clean the combs and use sugar in wax making. The queen lays those ready combs.
If you make a nuc, one frame is good as nuc food.
