Anyone know this shrub? My bees are all over it at the minute, its about 10' tall.

I noticed the ivy too, no idea what the plant is but my mother-in-law has one, lucky we have some very keen gardeners here.

I have one in the garden, I thinks its Weigela florida var Pink Princess

Ok thanks all, its poking through the top of a fdnce & the ivy is sll over the fence, i grow lots of ivy for the birds to nest in, in one stretch of fence covered in ivy about 20' long we have blackbird, chaffinch, dunnock, wren & blue tit nests, fantastic stuff

Is this the same shrub but just with a varigated leaf, or a different type? This is in my garden & the flowers look the same?

That one is W. F Moulin Rouge if that the correct spelling. Just a different variety
