Cranky bees

Does anyone find that bees are more cranky in the evening ? I think i might be going too late though it is still bright and warm enough but from the activity at the front door i imagine that the bees are mostly all home.

Always easier to look at a colony when the bees are out and collecting nectar....
overcast and thundery day is possibly the wort time to go poking around in a big colony!!!

They are knackered! I like them in the morning when they are busy!
