There's only a limited number of tinted Masonry paint available and was wondering if any of you have succeeded in using alternative colourings?

Would acrylic paints work in tinting Sandtex?

Would like to know of your results.

Regards

I mix Black and White masonry paint to get 50 Shades of Gray.

People mixing paints always makes me think of Alfred E Neumann's Mad Magazine in the 1960s which ran a spoof advert for a car available in seven exciting shades of black. The magazine also ran an advert for a camera with a variety of adjustments that enabled amateurs to achieve at least 100 incorrect settings but professionals could achieve many more.

There’s a huge amount of colours for masonry paints, if you can’t find the colours your after change the brand Failing that slip the guy a drink in a proper decorating merchants and they’ll put any tint you like in a base! It’s just not approved or policy😂
Just don’t expect the guy at B&Q to know what buttons to press😉
