Due to two family members having really bad reactions to beestings I very reluctantly have to stop being a beekeeper for the time being. I cannot do the out-apiary-thing.
I have 3 colonies on Nationals (One 14x12 incredible strong with a super almost filled and another two added yesterday, one double brood with one super added yesterday and one standard that can probably be supered next week.
Also 4 (Langstroth) colonies in M@dern beekeeping polys - one in two deeps and a medium (very strong) , another very strong one on 3 Medium boxes and two colonies in stacked Nucs mixture of deeps and mediums. All on plastics frames which are a dream to extract. Plenty of spare frames.
I also have two spare queens in Mini-plus hives.
At this stage I would prefer to sell the whole lot or at least all the Langs and all the Nats together.
Please pm me if you are interested for prices.
There is also a lot of other boxes/nucs/feeders/frames etc that has to go, some brand new and others obviously used.
Should really go to somebody that knows what they are doing and will look after them well, or maybe somebody with a year or two under their belt that want to expand.
The bees are all good-natured and have been kept in my garden for 6 years, the two stings happening 4 years ago and recently and on both occasions these were when people were where they shouldn't really have been at the time of inspection, had a bee buzzing round them and panicked.
All queenright at the moment.
This is quite devastating for me so can those that want to tell me it's way to soon to be supering please just let this one go - I try and give my bees the space when they need it, and they needed it.
