Bottle of CO2 from a pub/brewery perhaps? One bottle can amount to several years supply. Find an Irish pub that is buying outside......which means any pub, and have a word!

Where do they get them from? I spoke to BOC online and they were very unhelpful.

Don't know how large a volume you need but Soda Stream bottles of CO2 can't be far off the mark.

I've used the small soda stream ones when I wanted to work away from home. I've also used the bigger (~1Kg?) size because I was going through the smaller ones too quickly. Now, I need something a bit bigger/more permanent than those for use at home. The pub bottles are the size I was thinking of but ended up with a 3Kg cylinder today. I suppose it's a marketing thing to get you to pay for more refills. I'll have to see how quickly I go through this.
