is there anybody out there who has looked after buckfast bees in Scotland. I have been thinking of a buckfast queen, to be introduced into a nuc with a couple of frames from my native scottish black bees. This would be in an out apirary, aprox four miles away, so there would be no crossing. If anyone has tried this, i would be interested to find out. What the problems were, if any. I am on the west coast where the winters are normaly not to cold. Ianf.

Would you be interested in swapping a bottle of 40 year old Laphroaig for a Buckfast queen ha ha.Trying to keep Buckfast in north west Donegal near the sea so will be keen to see any replies, best of luck.

if i had a 40 year old bottle of laphroaig it would have been empty 39.75 years ago. Nice to dream. Regards Ianf.
