brood frames

people often advise to add drawn or undrawn frames which always makes it sound like a binary choice

now

my frames are a v mixed bag

i have drawn and undrawn
i have some drawn on one side and not the other
some drawn and capped with honey about the size of my fist, the rest of frame still foundation
some drawn but with pollen and uncapped honey

and everything between

so....
1. do i just make do and figure out which is best at the time
2. start again with all the in between frames
3. only store frames which are d/ud
4. something else

is it only me?
