Nice picture, can I use it for a display I'm doing. Good resolution of hairyness !

If you're into hairyness - take a look at these: wing/ head/ mouth and even the cornea - bees are covered in hairs, quite literally all over :

Look a pretty mixed lot to my eyes.
Needs to be pointed out that the colony from which the brood rearing/ mating nuc supply bees may have had a lot of stripeyness... but the queen and the young bees in the shot are quite black and have a good wing morphometry showing a low level of introgression.

I cannot resemble much your dark bee from our grey bee (A.M. Carnica).. Here are few pics of our grey.. Autochthonous at my place. These are from my hives..
Hi Goran, I can see the queen but can't quite make out her colour is she black and tan
