Anyone else going this year?

Hopefully my season aim of having good bees in productive apiaries with competent management won't be diverted by the allure of shiny new equipment.

I'll be there too. It's important to support such events so we can rely on them to be running in the years when we do need them. Use or lose.

Good, sounds like a plan coming together, need to have a look and find a local pub then. Somewhere for a steak and some beers

Any recommendations anyone ?

I can recommend the bacon butties in the HA cafeteria. If there is to be a meet - could it be on Saturday?

according to Google, from Swansea to Stoneleigh is 161.1 miles, too far for me to capitalise on any sort of savings but have a good day everyone

Not going myself, but two of my lads are going for the weekend, but they will get everything paid for... including travel costs as part of the BF apprenticeship scheme.

You'd have to go a fair distance to get that bacon butty!

Beeetradex is at Stoneleigh, not HA, and it's nothing to do with B8KA.

Back to Beetradex ...

Other than the new Maisemore polynucs, what else new is there to investigate?

I just had a look who will be at Beetradex and Sherriff is one of them... they say there will be offers available from them, does anyone know maybe from last year if these offers are worth going? I am in a need of a good quality Beesuit....

I bought a Sheriff suit at HA last year - really pleased with it, though choice of colours in my size was limited.

Thanks for your Feedback, how about the prices, was there some specials or same as on their website?

Anyone know the likely cost of Swienty national poly supers at the convention? Hopefully less than the £16.50 each that both C Wynne Jones and Solway Bee Supplies charge.

I've emailed Swienty but no reply yet.

Listed at £14.63 on their website, not sure what they will charge at the convention, but i think there is still a small charge even if they bring them to the convention if pre ordered, that is if it's not already too late to have them brought there. If your a member of BFA you would get a discount on the list price.
Best person to e mail at Swienty, i find is... Josephine, i received two replies from her yesterday, and another this morning.
