I dived the Politician (Wreck Barra) ( Cabinet Minister in the Whiskey Gallore Fillm) found nothing... surfaced stinking of fuel oil!
Then that was only for a bottle of Speyside!

Result... managed to exchange a couple of dozen tinnies of Heineken for a full 1 liter bottle of Balviene with some land drainage workers on Canna ( Think they were Glaswegian)

btw wikipedia says eriskay (nearly Barra ) ... and bottles off the SS politician have gove high as £6000 so chances of finding anymore are ~0

btw The sailing round there in May early June beats the Caribbean into a cocked hat.

A memory of a lifetime was sailing into Village Bay, St Kilda... and then out around Rockall and back to Leith through the canal.... got so fed up with lobster we banned them from the yacht!
