Bee netting

Somebody a few months ago posted some pics of a bee farm place in France(?) they had visited and everybody was just walking around between the hives...Quite a lot of people...

Yes, they did not seem to be full production hives but there was about 10 of them in a small area. Someone was going round giving them a puff of smoke once in a while other wise the visitors were left to walk around and watch them come and go.
