Bee Connected

At the weekend I was tending my hives and the spray tractor drove past. It occurred to me that I'm registered on Bee Connected, but I hadn't received a notification.

So it occurred to me. How many Bee Keepers have signed up and have been contacted about spraying?

Please no rants about the Pro's and Con's. I just want answers.

This came up in another thread recently 4 people who were registered for varying periods had never received a single email. I have been registered 2 years and never had a notification.

I've just set up a famers account and set up two fake sprays with "WEBSITE TEST NO ACTION NEEDED" and when I've logged in with my bee account it does say that there are two planned (one today and one tomorrow)

However I've not seen any emails yet - so it looks like unless you're going to log in every day it's useless. I will keep an eye out for emails arriving though and update as necessarily.


They have just arrived - so five minutes or so delay.

Might well be.

Who runs it, could they be asked how many farmers / sprayers have signed up - and how they promote it to them.

same here, i have been part of the hertfordshire trial area, local farmer spraying for pollen beetle...within 500yds of my hive....not a single email
