I suppose this warm weather whilst it may seem good for the bees (not having to keep as warm during day, just night) will put some pressure on the stores as they are active rather than cluster and quiet.
I realise they are out foraging, and pollen coming in but nectar is probably less prolific.
I am hefting but being in the first year you don't have the experience of years of hefting!
Mine are insulated now, tied down and ready for winter when it does arrive! Doing leaves on 31 October in shorts and t shirt sweating just is not right!
