Hopefully managed to save my nuc, yellow bees where trying to rob the nuc I have in my backgarden. I'm changing my mind about yellow bees!

Put a sheet of glass in front of the entrance robbers hit the glass resident bees see the obscule and fly out the sides of the pane of glass

I reduced the entrance so that only a few bees could enter at the same time (1/2 inch).
Then I was simply removed all the yellow bees that were clustering around. A lot of dead bees but at least the nuc survived. Will they really become nasty bees now?

early days for wasps,so the nuc has a long way to go.watch out when feeding the nuc that you don`t spill sugar syrup.
you may have to move the nuc so have a backup apiary.

Even more important - far more important - don't feed unless really necessary.

Another nail in the coffin for the 'pro-nuc feeders at all times'.

It wasn't wasps, but yellow bees! Soooo many!
I won't feed them, there's no need to at least for now. I'm just worried they'll become very angry, is it true?
