Assembling National Hives

Hello everyone,
Brand-new to this and just got my first flat pack national hive.
I’ve noticed the brood box doesn’t come with any metal runners… necessary or can I assemble it without?

Not needed, especially with Maisemore kit. I tend not to bother with runners or castellations any more although have them in some of my older kit.

if it'd a Maisemore one. the chamfer negates the need for runners, otherwise, just build it and fix the runners later

Maisemore have some instruction sheets for their version, available to download on their website.

Thorne have some videos for theirs on YouTube.

Although some on here use a different method to assemble, which makes more sense to me, such as @Newbeeneil and @jenkinsbrynmair IIRC
