You could be easily prosecuted for criminal damage.

I don't think so - no damage was done. The nearest offence would be anti-social behaviour but I can't see the Police following that up in those circumstances.

I would just bite the bullet for a season and open feed on a daily basis. Might cost a few bob in sugar but he might get the hint.

Best course of action, could even make it look as though open feeding is in progress.

I'm totally with you.....nothing wrong at all. Just because you are first in an area doesn't mean you have total flying rights for your bees. Blimey, what's wrong with you all.

wara teg to the guy who was first there. I would put fencing panels right outside his hives this side of the fence, I'm Sorry but my Integrity would not allow me to do that without asking the other beekeeper
