First tray put on a week ago. Nearly empty.

Do I wait until the recommended 2 weeks have elapsed, before adding the second? Or do I add second tray as soon as it is needed?

Was thinking the gap (where no Apiguard is in hive) might encourage Varroa to get going again?

Manufacturers website says "After 10 days examine the tray and if it is almost empty, replace with a second tray. If there is product left in the tray after 10 days leave until day 14 and then replace."

I seem to remember that the instructions that come with the product just say leave for 14 days

I've always resisted the temptation to peek and (due to working shifts) they tend to be on for the full fortnight.

+ for some reason I only have 3 ekes so treat the ones on the cricket field almost a month ahead of the alotment!
