Elasticated bottoms to trousers - over the boots. Clever or not? No chance of bees falling into boots, they cannot crawl under the elastic, no socks or ankles as a target.

In fact it just works.'.

I don't understand why anyone tries the otherway, bees can't get in to sting, job done.

I have always tucked mine into my wellies never worn them over, never been stung.

I also tuck my gloves (let's not go there gloves yes or no) inside my sleeves, same reason, seems logical to me. I used to be stung through the gauntlet "folds". Not since I tucked them under the suit.

I usually tuck my ripped and holey jeans into my rigger boots, never been stung.

After 2011 just wearing trainers, this bad weather = my nice bees have turned nasty, 3 strings to ankle on Monday, still throbbing, it's wellingtons for me from now on!
