During the June gap, two of mine were as busy as ever and when the lid came off, a rather pungent, earthy aroma arose. The scent was coming from the supers and I had no idea what it was until, when standing up after the customary limbo shimmy under the electric fence, I came nose to umbel with a head of keck. It's a rather unusual tasting honey but there's 2 supers filled with it. If I can't acquire the taste I can always pop it in the mead bucket.
